Who doesn’t love a nice, crispy taco. Tacos have become quite popular all over the United States. However, they are especially popular in Texas in part due to their proximity to Mexico. The first type of street taco is the Barbacoa. This is a barbecue taco that used to be made with slow cooked cow’s head. However, today it involves a variety of barbecue meats instead of cow’s head. The next type of taco is the Carne Asada. This is a grilled steak taco that has a charred taste. Another amazing taco is a Mexico City style taco known as, Al Pastor. The name means shepherd’s way and the taco uses a citrus marinade pork that is cooked with pineapple.

If you are looking for a more exotic street taco, look no further than Cabrito. Cabrito is made from young goat meet. It is popular in Monterrey, Mexico. Even shrimp tacos are an option. Camaron are tacos made out of grilled or battered shrimp. Lastly, Carnitas are tacos that consist of pork should or butt. It is tastier than it sounds.
